Come from State College for an adults-only winery stay in Madison, Ohio, with eight rooms on Lake Erie, on-site dining and breakfast included.
Our family spent eight years finishing this stone and slate mansion before opening it to guests in 2024. Today, the house brings together our boutique hotel, restaurant and wine bar, with Lake Erie beyond the north windows. Estate Cabernet Franc is grown, pressed and poured on the property; the 2022 vintage received Double Gold at the 2025 Ohio Wine Competition. Read our story.
Worth the drive
Why stay with us
Give a State College weekend a room beside Lake Erie and enough time to enjoy it. Vincent William has eight adults-only rooms, each with a private bath, in a mansion shared with the restaurant and wine bar. A two-night stay leaves one full day for the shoreline or nearby wineries, while three nights allow a little more space around the journey. Bring a book, choose a room with seating by the water and let breakfast be the first appointment of the day.
