Why make the trip
Mentor is close enough that an evening here is not a trip. Chef Jeff Gable's kitchen buys in season from farms nearby: West Orchards, Bonner Farms, Rainbow Farms, and the wine bar pours the estate Cabernet Franc a few steps from where it aged. Book a table on a Thursday, hear the patio set, and be home the same night. Or take the other version: a Friday room upstairs, breakfast cooked to order in the morning, and the pool above the lake: a night away that starts twenty-five minutes from your own driveway.

Yes. We are open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner, and in season there is live music on the patio, no cover unless noted. Plenty of Lake County guests drive out for the evening and are home by ten.
Why stay overnight when we live in Mentor?
Because the tasting does not have to end early and nobody drives. Eight adults-only rooms sit above the restaurant, breakfast is cooked to order downstairs, and the pool and hot tub above the lake open at nine.
