Powderhorn is an eighteen-hole par 70 with around forty bunkers placed to make you think rather than simply to punish, laid out by Anderson, Lesniak & Associates.
It has a long reputation locally as good value: a proper round of golf without a private-club price attached, which is why it stays busy.
Ten minutes inland from the estate, and an easy pairing with an afternoon on the wine trail since both sit on the same side of town.
