Live summer theater in a working barn since 1946: five minutes down the road.
Rabbit Run is one of the very few original barn theaters still operating anywhere, running a full summer season from early June to the end of August in a barn on Chapel Road.
Evening performances start at 7:30 p.m., and guests are welcome to bring a picnic and eat on the grounds beforehand in the pavilion or the courtyards. It is a genuinely old-fashioned evening and none the worse for it.
It is the closest cultural attraction to us: about five minutes, and the single easiest thing to build an evening around if you are staying midweek in summer.

Ask the kitchen for a picnic to take with you. Eating on the theater grounds before the curtain is the whole point of the place.
