The Grand River Valley is the wine region the estate sits inside. Lake Erie warms and cools more slowly than the land, holding the growing season long and cool along the river, which is why cool-climate grapes ripen here. A dozen wineries sit within a short drive, from tasting rooms in old farmhouses to patios over the vines.
