Ferrante Winery & Ristorante
15 min drive
A family estate winery that has been making wine in this valley since 1937.
Ferrante is one of the oldest names in Ohio wine. The family has been growing and making here since 1937, and the estate now covers a large block of vineyard along Route 307 in Harpersfield.
The ristorante is Italian and unapologetic about it: house pasta, wood-fired pizza, a long patio that looks out over the rows. The wine list is deep in the Ohio classics and increasingly good in dry vinifera.
Of everything on the 307 corridor this is the one with the most history behind the glass. Ask about the ice wine if you are here in the cold months.
