Debonne Vineyards

Debonne farms more than 175 acres of vines in the Grand River Valley, which makes it the largest estate winery in Ohio and the anchor of the trail most guests drive first. The Debevc family has been growing here for three generations.

The tasting room opens onto a long covered patio over the vineyard. There is live music through the warm months, a wood-fired kitchen, and a list that runs from dry Riesling and Chardonnay through the sweet Ohio labels the region built its reputation on.

It is a bigger, busier room than ours by design. Come for the scale of the place and the view down the rows, then come back to the lake for something quieter.
