Winter 1920 brought a Wednesday-night speakeasy to the cellar at Vincent William. The room’s stone walls, painted murals and long table provided the setting for a featured chef menu and cocktails drawn from Prohibition-era recipes.
The cellar evenings
The series took its name from the start of Prohibition in January 1920 and Lake Erie’s history as a route for smuggled spirits. Candlelight and the period cocktail list shaped the evenings downstairs.
