A room for the way you want to gather
The mansion was built as a house, not an event venue. That turns out to be the useful part.
Someone began it in the late 1990s and never finished it. Our family bought it that way, spent eight years on the interior, and opened in 2024 — which is why the event spaces are rooms and not banquet halls: doors that close, fireplaces that work, north windows over the lake, a stone cellar underneath.
No two are the same size, so most groups choose by the room rather than by a floor plan. For a larger evening, several of them work together.

The main wine bar can be reserved for larger gatherings where guests are meant to move around rather than remain seated. The bar stays at the center of the room, with estate wine, cocktails and food served throughout the event.
12-16 people
A private dining room with its own door, fireplace, bathroom, and floor-to-ceiling windows facing Lake Erie. It works particularly well for dinners where everyone should be around one table.
100-120 people
For larger events, the entire property can be reserved privately. That can include the restaurant, wine bar, private dining rooms, patio, grounds and access to the lakefront areas, with the option to reserve the inn as part of the event.

Depending on the gathering, that can mean a working lunch, family-style dinner, several plated courses, or a longer dinner with estate wine pairings.

Private events can include estate and regional wines and cocktails from the wine bar. We offer tasting glasses, and our team can talk about the wines with your guests.
For larger receptions, the Cellar or Tasting Room can function as a dedicated bar before dinner.
Stay overnight
The inn is upstairs.
Vincent William has eight adults-only guest rooms inside the mansion, each with a private bath.
For retreats, family gatherings and celebrations, rooms can be reserved alongside the event so guests can have dinner downstairs and stay on the property afterward.
Breakfast is cooked to order the following morning.
